For Those That Are Here to Click
Honestly, not everyone is here to read. And that's perfectly fine.
Links, like my meanderings, in no particular order.
I am still very sad that I finished The Shield. My best friend I were saying the other day that we want actually good “If you loved this, you might enjoy…” recommendations. While The Shield is, yes, a show about dirty cops in LA, it’s so much more than that! I swear. Just because I love that show doesn’t mean I’m going to like NCIS or Shades of Blue.
Yoga pants that are actually short. I’m 5’ 2” and these really are short enough for me.
Look at how pretty this ring is (similar here). And no, I haven’t forgotten I’m single. The cut reminds me of a different J. Hannah ring that I lusted after for years. It isn’t on her site anymore but I imagine it’s possible to have it custom-made?
I just started reading Come and Get it by Kiley Reid. I’m trying to keep up some reading momentum after finishing The Vulnerables by Sigrid Nunez. Come and Get It is about an RA. I was an RA in college, not to narc on people, but to save money. It was a seriously difficult job at times. I can’t believe people think having RA’s just one year older than their residents is a good idea.
Newly sober, I am newly a breakfast eater. I’ve been turning muesli into overnight oats and topping it with almond butter. So filling, so tasty. I thought it would be fun to try it with this banana milk I always see at my grocery store. They also make root beer milk! It didn’t turn out as amazing as I expected but still delicious.
